This is part 2, please make sure to also sign up for part 1. In this session, we will look at the value, purpose(s) and function(s) of the art journal/sketchbook in the art room. Teachers will share their personal experiences with students and how the sketchbook and/or journal has functioned (or not) as a part of their curriculum. We will explore options of how a sketchbook can be created by hand as opposed to a purchased supply item. We will explore different ideas of how we could potentially use them within our current curriculum.
