This session is designed to look at the role our educators, school and community leaders, and families can play in the development of formal and informal "third spaces" within Clarence that can promote proactive, pro-social, and in-person experiences --- especially for our youth.
This session will: 1) examine current research and trends around social behaviors and impact of isolation among youth and families
2) identify examples of successful and well-utilized "third-spaces" or third-space frameworks within our schools and community
3) discuss and analyze strategies that could be more effectively or easily implemented over the next few years
4) the roles that individual people, organizations, and local businesses could potentially play in developing these spaces
