This presentation will include information on WNY Compassion Connection, childhood bereavement statistics in our area, developmental responses to grief, best practices to support grieving students, and language and tools to support the bereaved. Our intention is to have attendees leave the presentation with a concrete toolbox of strategies to improve the way we support grievers.
